This was my boyfriend's & my first trip together and it was the perfect spot. The cabin is so cozy, welcoming, and everything feels so thought out. The kitchen is well stocked (cutting boards, cooking pots/pans, Pam, S&P, foil, toaster, hand mixer, extra paper towels) and so was everything else (bathroom essentials, toys, magazines/books, plenty of pillows). Their guidebook is super helpful with local recommendations & their favorite picks (making it a bit easier to choose where to go on the list if you're unsure). We visited the Cidery and tried their delicious cider and donuts (as recommended in the book by the hosts).
The bed is super comfy & overall the spot is amazing - quiet, remote, great view, cozy gas fire. The wifi was high speed and the Roku TV was great. Phone service is spotty but the wifi mostly makes up for that and we loved disconnecting anyways.
The one thing I'd note, which for some reason we didn't consider even though the listing says dog friendly (which I love for all the dog parents) - is that if you do have animal allergies, pack your Calartin/allergy meds. The cabin is very well-kept & clean, but I think it's one of those things that can still have some leftover fur/allergens and it slightly affected us - but once we took our allergy med we were totally fine. If I didn't bring those, I would have went out to buy some so just wanted to note that for anyone else who might not think about it right away too. There is also a Roomba type vacuum so you could run that if you wanted.
Overall, 11/10 recommend and would definitely go back again!
