What can I expect when I stay at a Cozy Escape?

Your Cozy Escape experience includes contact with a friendly host before, during, and after your stay. The house locations feel secluded and are surrounded by nature. Nearby, there are outdoor activities and other attractions. The houses are thoughtfully and tastefully designed to welcome you and make you feel right at home. 

Do you allow pets?

We allow dogs with no additional pet fee! We believe they are an important part of a Cozy Escape! We ask that you keep them leashed on walks out of respect for our neighbors. Please keep all food inside so as to not attract any wildlife. 

Is there wifi?

We do have wifi! We encourage you to disconnect from your devices, but recognize that having wifi can provide comfort and convenience. You'll be able to stay connected with loved ones back home, enjoy a relaxing remote work environment, or snuggle up for a cozy movie. Note that given the remote locations, wifi speed may be slower than you are accustomed to. 

Is there cell service?

Cell service is limited and varies by carrier. We do have wifi which will allow you to call via wifi and keep you connected to loved ones back home. 

Is it kid-friendly?

Yes, the houses are kid friendly! We encourage families to go on Cozy Escapes together. It is our desire for parents to feel relaxed and for children to enjoy their stay. We provide children books and toys, a pack-n-play and sheets, high chair, baby gates, baby wash, and sound machines. 

What do I need to pack?

We want to make escaping stress-free and easy to prepare for. Pack your clothes and personal toiletries, and know that we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and fresh clean towels and linens. Our kitchen is fully stocked with cooking pots, pans, and dishes. We provide olive oil, salt and pepper, paper towels, aluminum foil, gallon zip lock bags, coffee, creamer, sugar, tea, and honey. We have games, books, and other activities to enjoy during your Cozy Escape, too!

How does check-in and check-out work?

Check-in: 3:00 pm
Check-out: 11:00 am
The houses are self check-in. You will receive an email with the door key pad code the morning of your check in date. 

Can I book for one night only?

We have a 2 night minimum stay (would anything shorter be a true escape?). 

What is the cancellation policy?

Do you provide firewood?

Firewood is not provided. The houses are on wooded lots with plenty of firewood that can be gathered.
